Miss Helen Cosentino visting india for tsunami help
Around the age of 12, I found a calling and inspiration to help the world; I could not stop thinking everyday about all of the ways I could help, but it was hard to come forth and act on this feeling. When I stared high school, I had my first opportunity to work with a small community during Christmas to bring smiles to the children through love , hugs , music and gifts. The joy and appreciation made me feel that true beauty in life , sharing love.

Today we, my family and I , will see for the first time the village which we have heard so much about , I am so excited to meet the people I cant wait today, I am blessed to share this extraordinary day. India is beautiful, the people are so kind, I am truly blessed to be here.

This trip has already made a huge impact on my life, when I return home, I will be going to school during my spare time I hope to take classes through the red cross to learn first aid. My goal is to become a nurse I Know it will take time but it will all be worth it. Whenever I can I will devote my self to the world It is hard to keep my hope alive but I can never underestimate the power of people, this is my reason to live.
